I had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving with lots of friends and family. Everyone got along well and had plenty to eat. The got along well is the cool part.

At the risk of sounding spammy, I am wondering if anyone will interested in entering a financial arrangement with me, and save a little money on holiday travels:
Situation:
I have 2 JetBlue TrueBlue award passes, good for any JetFlight flight within the US. It can be used for one round trip flight, or two one-way flights. The problem is, they expire on Jan 10th, and I don’t plan on going anywhere before they expire. And I don’t wanna take a trip just to use the award coupon.
Here’s an idea:
So, I was thinking… do you plan on taking a trip anytime before Jan 10th? Do you know anyone who do? Could you fly JetBlue to your destination? How about if I buy you the ticket, and you pay me 80% of the ticket price? Basically, I’m offering 20% off on your holiday flights.
My alternative is to give them to my relatives, who will most likely weasel their way out of paying me. They always do.
Let me know if you’re interested. I think you can use it for a flight that takes place AFTER Jan 10th, as long as you buy and pay for the tickets before Jan 10th… but I’m not sure. Let me know if that’s what you want the coupons for, I’ll call JetBlue and confirm that’s kosher. I’d prefer this to be one of you guys that I know reasonably well, as opposed to someone who just signed up, but we’ll talk it out.

I’ve just confirmed that I CAN indeed book a ticket for a flight that takes place AFTER Jan 10th, as long as we pay for the flight before Jan 10th. So, I can buy you a ticket to go to the meetup, if you want.
The more expensive the ticket, the more money I’m gonna get, so I would probably lean toward the more expensive flight, if more than one person interested. (Anyone wanna go to St. Maarten, Dominican Republic, or Hawaii?)
I got to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra last night. I didn’t think we’d get to see them this year. We even got club box seats which was pretty cool. It’s always a good show, never a disappointment. Fantastic if you love 80’s metal mixed with classical mixed with Christmas. Kicks Sorrybarb.
I had Indonesian food for the first time a few days ago, and it was DELICIOUS. I’m so excited to have discovered a new cuisine that I like!
I got a job!!! I knew I owned that frakking interview. The delay had been because they are trying to find me a desk at one of the offices closest to me (it’s in state government). Looks like I won’t be getting evicted after all! Yay!!

Congrats!! Gov’t jobs can sometime suck but they’re also pretty good most of the time. And here in South Dakota, I get 13 paid holidays a year!!!
