I ADORE Leverage! And I’ll expand that statement to someone on the writing staff is a huge geek. There are so many geeky references and actors (Wil Weaton, Jonathan Frakes, a few actors from Angel and Buffy, the girl from Eureka), I squeed nearly every episode.
Shiny! I look forward to future episodes then (I’m only on disc 2 of season 1). “The Snow Job” was great with not one but three Whedonverse alumni: Christian Kane, Danny Strong and that guy that played Holland Manners. And I did notice Jonathan Frakes get a director credit; he’s everywhere.
He trades it for 200 pounds of scrap metal, thinking he’s getting a deal.
That’s a pet peeve: shows casting good actors and doing nothing with them. I know there are legit logistic and artistic reasons for it. And it’s good see talented people get a nice paycheck. But if you’re casting Bubbles in Heroes, good gosh y’all, give the man something to do.
Yeah, like putting him on a better show. Stupid Heroes…
I know this is a simple pleasure, but sleeping in is wonderful. I get up at 5 a. m. for work so having a vacation and being able to sleep in is wonderful.
My Brother in Law is home from the hospital. YAY
It does seem weird that sleeping in these days means I get up at 7:30am.
Like Jimmy Buffett said… “these days I’m Up, about the time I used to go to bed.”
I wake up at 7. Good quote.
Spouse and I have managed to make it another year into this whole marriage thing Anniversaries are fun!
My 9th wedding anniversary was on Dec 23… the years do seem to be going by faster. and faster…
Congratulations
At 6am this morning I was cleaning snow off my car, when two of my roommates got home. Their evening had started at the hockey game and progressed from bar to bar to pancake house to bar to pancake house, and now home.
“Going to work?” Adam asked me. “Yep,” says I. “Me too,” he says.
Congrats!!
W00t! Felicidades, Casilda.
Congratulations to you too.
Why is it that the years seem to go by faster the older we get? (I wrote a piece about that once. The ending is not pretty. heh heh) We’re celebrating our ninth next June and are already planning for the big 1-0 in 2011. Gotta start saving up for that one soon.
Congratulations on another year.
The twin sis got cast in a short film. She’s also planning a trip to L.A. in the spring to visit her musician friend, who wants to show her off to some connections there. If I can scrape together the cash (I got a thing in Texas I gotta go to), I might go with her.
Finally back online with a 98% new computer! WOO!
Stroogie, go with her. The thing in Texas seems to be happening every year (I am hoping to make it next year. This year I have a big premiere that same week).
It’s small, but I wandered into the living room this morning, and what did spouse turn on but “Torn”! It was weird to see BSG dubbed in Spanish, but very cool nonetheless
does Eddie do his own dubbing?
