Cool craaaaaap you've acquired/done lately

It;s 1:30am here, and I’m up watching a meteor shower. Very cool.

It’s my first Smartphone so it’s very exciting. That and I’ve been interested in the Pre for awhile now.

Actually my picture for 365 yesterday (I haven’t put it up yet though!) was a picture of spouse’s iPhone and my Pre next to eachother… I think I’m going to title it “Marriage” or something like that

Correction: Today, I saw a Pioneer BDP-121 Blu-ray player for $100 with free shipping.

$100 Blu-ray player! So tempting.

Just made this.

fraggle dance

That’s kinda redundant, isn’t it?

“Look Ma! It’s a Fwaggle!”

Since Twitter is awash with Indiana Jones avatars, I have updated my avatar here to match. I know, it’s not really cool craaaaaap but you have to take it where you can get it!

No more bandage and can wash my hair normally. It does not look to bad, i just think it looks like X marks the spot. Now I just hope it is a one time experience.

Try writing a list of what you are thankful for alphabetically. I put GWC folks for my G.

X-shaped scar?

Are you really Sephiroth?

Alphabetical good things list is actually a really fun exercise, I had problems with L, W, X and Z.

For my birthday, I got a shiny new Mac Pro  It is beyond awesome.

Well, for X I’m sure the answer is “xylophone(s).” Because the answer to “x” is ALWAYS “xylophone(s).”

(Yeay for Leah’s bandages being off!)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEE!

karmic posting, and because I turned in a major piece of work today. feels nice, though it really just means that tomorrow I’m on to the next one…

I went to a pumpkin drop this weekend. Pilots drop pumpkins from their planes and try to hit a target. Here’s an example shot, you can see the just-released projectile immediately below the Maule:

You may be surprised to learn that pumpkins do NOT withstand these drops exceedingly well.

The shot pictured landed maybe 5 feet short, btw.

That looks like much fun, both for the pilots and the onlookers!

It’s fun for everyone!

…well, except the pumpkins, I suppose…

L for Love or Leah (Ok the second one is pushing it  )
X cheat and use extreme something

Z I used zoology because I get along with animals so well.

Now that is real cool. I have a MacBook Pro. I hate desks so I use laptops.

Pumpkins need a better union.

I’ve been really inspired by the ‘Cosmos’ arc to explore the local observatory here. In two weeks I am going head down to the Tucson area and visit the Kitt Peak Observatory for their Nightly Observing Program. While I am down there I figured I’d also go and visit the Titan II Missle Museum in Sahuarita. The museum is the only Titan II missle site in the county that is open to the public. They even do sleepovers in the crew cabins!

Noooooo, all those pumpkins! No parachutes…:frowning:
