I just spent a long weekend in New York, and spent far more money than I probably should have at the NBC Store (a BSG “What the Frak” shirt) and the HBO Store (lots of True Blood stuff). I got my American on Purpose book signed by the lovely and kind Craig Ferguson, and I was able to see Rock of Ages with Tom Lenk from BtVS. Best furlough days ever.

What a great way to start the day. I wake up to text message that my big bro just received his 3rd kid. A little dude 8 lbs 12 oz 21 in yet to be named. Then i had a good breakfast. The drive in was nice and cool. Its a good day. Happy dance shimmy in my office chair!!

of the two major holidays coming up, we have travel arrangements set for one already. phew! 
My sister named her cat Gaius!! My Bros last name is Zelasko and i am trying to get him to name the lil guy with P. E. names Paul Edward. Peter Elliot…etc. They want biblical names so either of those two work. I want this so the initials will be PEZ. Its an inside joke that us siblings always give each other a Pez dispenser for Xmas.

Tomorrow is Friday and I get to resolve the professional issue that’s been driving me nuts all week. There are three possible outcomes. We’ll see what happens, but it’ll be done tomorrow.
Sadly, the phone call that will end this will not be the cathartic screamfest I need, but what the hell.
I was able to book a room at the Marriott for next year’s Dragon Con (before they all sold out in five minutes).

Did they finally finish up the construction at the Marriott? I haven’t been there since 2007, so I would hope it’s all done.
