I have a contact at GE that could lead to a co-op this summer, and that could lead to them paying for grad school. Nothing is for sure yet, but it’s good to have a little direction sometimes.

today was awesome, great professional development workshops and I feel like I actually know stuff. In my field, and all.

Wow you learned something at a workshop. What a change of pace. I have a two day one coming up. All of the social studies teachers are going to one to help them to teach writing in the content area. Great I have been teaching Language Arts to students with disabilities for over 20 years. I am also teaching History. I will probably go crazy but it not by choice.
Had a great opening concert to the 2009-10 season last night all while collaborating with a friend from grad school I hadn’t seen in five years AND with whom I’d yet to collaborate. It was fun.

Just helped some friends strip the inside of a van in preparation for a Burning Man art car for next year. Spent some time today discussing structural reinforcements, we’re planning on cutting everything off from the floor up but need it to still be road safe.
