Can you be anti-capital punishment and anti-zombie?
I knew I should not ask. Welcome to GWC where the zombie apocalypse is often discussed.
This is what I did today.
His Name (for now is Rocky) We rescued him from the Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown PA. http://www.lastchanceranch.org He is half Husky an half Shepard. Very cool dog. He has the best disposition of any dog I have I have ever met.

I love the mix of Husky tail and Shepherd ears. Did I see a smile too.
Thank you for being such a good human. Rocky or whatever name you give him will thank you for the rest of his life with love only a rescued pet can give.

He looks like a sweet dog. I vote for naming him Jake. 
(One of our dogs when I was growing up was named Rocky. I like that name too. But Jake is a true hero of the resistance.)
In a sense since killing during a war isn’t technically considered capital punishment, and im sure that if a zombie apocalypse comes, the world will turn into a total war state, so you’re okay

We have no Idea what his Name was before he got to the last chance ranch, THEY named him Rocky, and as we spent two days trying to think of a better or rather different name, my 5 year old said, “lets just call him by his real name. Rocky” so I think we will go ahead and go with that.
We are working our way through some separation anxiety issues with him, but he has already gotten a lot better in just two days, so I am sure he just needs consistent reassuring that we are going to come back and he will be fine.
The Best news is that less then 24 hours in to Rocky’s stay with us, my son and I were walking him in a big field near our house, and a un-leashed dog was running toward us, with a human running behind it yelling it’s name. Rocky placed himself between the on coming dog and my son and waited. He showed no sign of aggression, but did not give ground either as the dog got to us. luckily it was a non-incident in the end, but I thought, " I think we have been adopted."
24 hours. If my parents dont let me buy this hat im going to be sooooo sad

Today’s an awesome day. We may be in the US, but we’re having a party anyways Some of the traditional foods will be absent, or adapted, but it’s going to be fabulous.
