Well you sound like the lucky one. I have seen all of Firefly on TV more than once. It is great.
Six newborn golden retriever puppy souls (not the dogs mind you just there souls) and a Willie Mays rookie card. and it only cost me that old Buick in the back yard; two still to be determined favors to a chinese businessman exhiled to the state of Navada and that thing i had to do by the Cambodian border, oh well you’ll see it on the news in a few days.
i call that last one on the left King Edward he third and I think we can all see why…
there are days i just feel this strange
My furry friends say welcome to yours.
Hey none of that furry in this thread, take that to the gutter
It is you who are in the gutter. These are pretty dogs and they do not go in the gutter.
Now, now, let’s not be hasty…
Hasty, no. It seems that everyone putting me in the gutter and I am not going in there. Unless the litter of puppies were a code term for a gutter thought that I missed my pups were just representing a congratulations. I just like dogs and they do not even poop in the gutter.
(No hard feeling intended if I came off harsh. )
Sorry i guess my post was a little to out there :o
I’m still puppy free but your little ones are very cute
I am so confused. I thought you had a litter of puppies that you were going to sell or give up to adoption. Saying souls not dogs because you were not planning to keep them. I am not angry but must have missed a reference. In several threads I have been “put” in the gutter" so I was joking about that since many folks read all the off topic threads. So no harm done. I did think I saw one of the dog pictures before. I guess I need a translation.
No puppies, but I had a premiere today. A piece for piano and percussion quintet. Performance went all right. Could have been better, but nothing was terrible and it came off pretty darn well. The little errors which always occur under the adrenaline of live performance will be corrected at the recording session this fall.
I did, however, seem to yield at least interest in two other, older pieces of mine, as well as possibly in creating two more (a concerto for trap set and band and/or orchestra–two versions of the same piece, not two ensembles in the same piece–and a piece for mezzo-soprano and percussion ensemble).
All in all, this may have been a very productive weekend, work wise, for me. Woot!
Shouldn’t you say Bravo! Bravo! Well if you will not I will. Bravo!
Its just me being obscure and weird feel free to set me on ignore until i’ve had more sleep
basically its me trying to be clever failing miserably… i’ll get it right next time or maybe the time after that.
Get some sleep. I however will not be ignoring you. I may not understand you but I will not ignore you.
Thanks, though it’s just a job, you know? Just a really, really interesting one (even if the pay stinks).
I must say this: I am really thrilled by the possible further performance opportunities this little gig may be yielding, not to mention the recording.
So all right, clap away.
I just had my first Asian Pear. Yum! Crisp like an apple, with a delicately sweet pear flavor. Almost made up for the fact that it cost $1.50.
I used to have these all the time growing up in Korea… boxes and boxes of them everywhere.
You are so spoiled.
Shame on you. Do you know how many musicians would like only a job playing their music. I remember when you were on a different thread saying how no one would pay attention to your work. So be proud, be happy, even if the pay stinks.
(lecture over congratulations)
