Well I’ve acquired both of these in the last month…
And this one I named White Star…
The presentation went well. However, I still feel… almost dread? Certainly not the relief and happiness that I was going for. Alas.
But it’s done! And now, I must dissertate. 
Dissertate. Dissertate like the wind. Like no one’s dissertated before!
I don’t know what the top one is, but it looks cool. I’m not much into cars myself, but the bottom one looks cool too. Very, very cool. 
Me? I’ve gotten a bunchof books in the past few days, came home from the library with a pile of CD’s (that one’s going in the bitch and moan thread. I have HOURS of music to distill and narrow down before Friday so I can put my grad seminar to rest). But, best of all, I got my second royalty check of the year today AND it was bigger (way bigger. Twice as big, in fact) than I expected. I may buy the mrs. a computer with that money AND have plenty left over for bills or to go into savings for our tenth anniversary cruise in 2 years.
Royalty checks YAY.

Cool. I never got into Stargate, hence my ignorance. Is it a model or a toy? (If the earlier, the coolness factor just went up exponentially.)
Really? I remember hearing a couple of voiced concerns about a female captain, but once the show got going, I never heard a peep about it. I thot Kate Mulgrew had a good commanding presence at Janeway, but all my complaints about the show were purely content-based. So were most of those that I heard from others.

I had to get up very early for work. Sounds bad but I got to see a delta rocket go up. When I get the pictures out of the camera I will post them.
Its a display model (I didn’t build it) and I got it through Think Geek.
Other than Janeway being a murderer (RIP Tuvix) I never had a problem with her being a captain. Heck, I’ve been taking orders from women my whole life, so I never saw anything unusual with her captaincy.
I made it through another day. That sometimes is enough.
Especially when you can not think of a B&M better than I am sleepy.
