I’m sure most of you’ve seen the first trailer but the new one looks pretty sweet. Kinda of like the Godzilla remake but good.

It actually looks really good. A Giant Monster Movie from the popcorn’s point of view.
(Popcorn = people, Crunchy and you can’t eat just one handful at a time.) 
I love the fact that since the first teaser came out, people have been guess what the name of this JJ project codenamed “Cloverfield”. Its great that the real name of the movie was out there in the first place.

I definitely plan to catch it on opening day. It looks like one of the first really interesting monster movies in a long, long time.

I’m very, very interested in it but with a new baby at home and the inherent financial pitfalls therein, a trip to the multiplex before May is unlikely. It looks way cool, though.

I was going to to go an see it this weekend however I found out that the release date here has been pushed back to 1st of Feburary. What was the point in having a trailer that had “01-18-08” prominently displaced if they aren’t going to use it as a release date (even if the date isn’t in the correct format :D). At least this way I get to hear some reactions and can choose not to see it.
This was a big topic between my and my friend who goes to a college about an hour away from where I live he said “I gotta see it first night because I know if anyone else sees it that I know, they will have images or something of the monster on their facebook after they get out of the theater and it will be there away messages.” And I believe him
i saw the “sneak preview” screening of CLOVERFIELD.
- you MUST see it. as soon as humanly possible.
- it lives up to ALL the hype.
- enjoy the fresh breath of life given to the genre.
