Same here. Friday nights are best for me, because I won’t have to worry about getting up at 5:30 the next morning to go to work.
Though if I get the promotion I’m up for, I’ll probably be moving back to night shift, so that will make things interesting.
I’m wholeheartedly for it, but I don’t know if I can make it in the near future.

I work downtown typically Mon/Wed/Fri, but am available other days.
We have some time and place issues, which I’ve highlighted below. Unfortunately some appear mutually exclusive, but I think we can work something out. Let’s not worry about perfection:

Date Suggestion: Sat Feb 9. It’s 4 weeks away hopefully enough time for everyone to arrange schedules. Saturday gives the most people to most flexibility. With as many people coming from all points, I think the Chicago weeknight commute will eat up a lot of peoples time. Glimfeather I hope with the lead time you can still work something out.
Time suggestion: 4pm. This assumes bowling. Do some bowling, then have the option to get something to eat or a movie, depending.
Place suggestion: the Lucky Strike on Erie sounds good.
Thoughts? Alternative suggestions?
I posted in the other thread suggesting Feb 16th or 17th. cause Jumper and Spiderwick Chronicals are out that weekend.
Bowling is out for me, bad hip.

Ok. . .I can possibly swing it. NOW, the real question is, will (Rev) Sean take a quick flight in to his home town and attend a meet up?

I’m definitely in. I’ve been mostly a lurker on this site, but when I heard about the meetup on the podcast, I had to check it out.
Is that the official date? Everyone should say they can go on the forum so that when I get there you’ll all be there too.
The thread has lagged since the date/place was proposed (below). I can certainly make it, sounds like Cavatar will and with AirlockBaltar it makes it makes three. Anyone else?

The 16th might work, I have tickets to see Flogging Molly at the House of Blues but I forgot if they’re for Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th. I’ll double-check.
