Casting the 11th Doctor Already?

Behold the next Doctor…?

Casting the 11th Doctor Already?

Wow, I didn’t even recognize Shia!

I actually just took RTD’s ramblings on Tovey as a big o’l crush. I think (if Tennant leaves at the end of 2009) it will be Moffat who picks the new Doctor.

That’s one goofy looking dude

I want the 9th Doctor back. That’s when I actually watched Who on a weekly basis so he’s my Doctor

Not his best picture. He looked better as Alonzo Frame in the Voyage of the Damned.

I know this would create a huge controversy but i think it should be Alan Tudyk. I know he is an American but he does a good English accent. He has the acting chops and i think he could inject a new life into the Doctor. Also it would be nice to see him step into a leading role. Also when Tennant first came in one of his first lines was Am i a Ginger i wanted to be a ginger. So it would be cool to have a red head doctor.

Boo! I love David Tennant. :frowning: (I wish he had been cast as Snape in the HP movies.)

Everyone says that the first Doctor you see is the one you love, and Tennant was my first. I’ll be sad to see him go.

Pours out a couple Jelly Babies for Baker.

Wait, he’s still around? Thirty second rule!

So, is he gonna use the Tardis or them ears?

“Boy, I stepped in it that time. Aw, come on, Dumbo. I think your ears are beautiful. As a matter of fact, I think they’re very decorative. You know, lots of people with big ears are famous!”

Harsh. :frowning:

Actually, this picture doesn’t do him justice, but it was the best one I could find.

Actually my first Doctor was Tom Baker many years ago but that was only one episode. Then my first REAL doctor was Ecleston and he was cool…I was a bit weary of Tennant but he has grown to be my fav by far

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Tennent Is the reason I watch the show. :(:(:frowning:

Well put Boxey, well put indeed.

Tovey shouldn’t count as a Doctor cos he’s already been in DW- Voyage of the Damned. But Colin Baker was a Time Lord in Arc of Infinity- the second one with a guy named Omega. I’m a rare young Classic Who fan- the first two Whos I saw were Mind Robber (2nd Doctor) and The Five Doctor (5th Doctor).

has a thought

Why can’t the Doctor regenerate into something that will explain the whole connection to River Song thing from Silence In The Library & Forest of The Dead. Heck, even regenerate into her. That’d be cool.

Looks like we’re know soon enough:
David Tennant to leave Doctor Who

No worries.

Good call. I would go with Paul Bettany, who is kinda the English Alan Tudyk. I know a lot of people rag on A Knight’s Tale, but I defy anyone to watch Bettany in that and not see a little Doctor in there.

I can agree with that. And i for one am proud to saw i totally love A Knights Tale. I don’t see whats not to like about it.

The “popular round these parts” option…

Although, he is a little TOO close to Tennant…

The Greatest Living Englishman?

But, in the end, for me, it comes down to these gentlemen:

Dylan Moran… come to think of it, that door behind him… Hmmm…

MARK HEAP! LOOK HE’S WITH AVON! sorry… I like Avon.

Edit: Knights Tale is fantastic
