Agreed, but I believe that he’s more concerned about the internal position and maybe he’s assuming that pilots are pilots and replaceable…his power in the Fleet was not…
LOL…RDM’s phone rings…the commentary is VERY amusing!!!

some of this episode just seems like an excuse to reuse the awesome “Resurrection Ship” battle footage again.
hey-it’s THE MUSIC! Best part of this episode.
I agree with RDM here too…this episode did NOT need the kiddie stealing stuff…it might have been a LOT better to have the whole episode be more about “is this REALLY a bad thing” ??
One of my favorite “skating laps” songs
“You’re not gonna shoot”
um…you’re talking to a TRAINED KILLER. If he wants you dead you will die. Period.
LOL…RDM “How did I let that one get past the goalie”
the hockey reference makes the whole commentary worth it…
Wish my ACTUAL defensemen felt like that
yes & no, Lee is at his core a “hero” he wants to save people, guys like that don’t just pull the trigger they usually need a good reason. He didn’t think Lee had one
and that’s the end. Next up: PURE AWESOME
Is it me or was this episode about a minute or 2 shorter than usual?
I think it was about 38 minutes…you could be right…seems we have more downtime then normal…
I’m trying to catch up (since I missed last week): I broke out the DVDs and am watching the episode with RDM’s commentary. Awwww so familiar…
I see why the idea of examining the black market was attractive, but… execution!
Lee and the prostitute just doesn’t work. At. all.
sum up what’s wrong: it’s too conventional.
tell it like it is, RDM
It doesn’t. I mean, Lee can have a girl and whatnot but the monetary stuff is weird and out of character.
It’s the only way I can enjoy this episode. Otherwise I find myself griping and just skipping ahead.
In fact, I think the last time I watched this episode was when I watched through with S for his first time. it’s just… meh.
You all remember when Razor came out, and all the… stuff… was related to the “brought to you by Quiznos! Hmmm toasty!?” commercials. I still kinda think that about that particular relationship.
yes.
really, the only part
Baltar’s got his hackles up!
It’s so weird about Zarek not being so thick into the black market. Huh.
And then we don’t deal with this woman ever again. It just doesn’t fit!
I stand by watching the episode with commentary, if you’ve seen it before.
