Blade Runner 9/24 @ 10 PM ET

Gawd those bushy eyebrows really date this movie! I guess replicants dont use tweezers…

It’s supposed to make her look unnatural. It works.

That Harrison Ford. Always falling asleep when the ladies are talking to him. What a MAN!!

That and the eyeliner. She looks like a raccoon.

But, I can forgive the eyebrows. Because of Aeryn Sun. d:

Ok, thanks again.

Just in case anyone was interested:

Versions of Blade Runner

Deborah Harry was reputedly the original choice to play Pris.

That would’ve been kewl!

Thank you, Lord Spoon.

Danke gut.

That’s an interesting look, Pris.

Apparently, the first time I saw this, it was actually the Director’s Cut, since the Theatrical Cut wasn’t available on video until a few years ago. Neat.

ETA: Or maybe the International Cut. I guess I’ll know for sure at the end.

Chiana reminds me of Pris, some times.

One of the best things about this movie is how dense in detail it is… Scott is a fanatic about creating an environment for the adience, enveloping them in the world he creates.

The Syd Mead designed vehicles, an entire street built for the outside shots, actual magazine covers for the periodicals at the newstand. The light-up umbrellas, his apartment. Awesome production work!

Very atmospheric, and the different locations all have dramatically different lighting…

I’m sure that wasn’t by accident.

Hmmm, I’m watching the Director’s Cut then.

Hehe. Nice catch.

So true. It’s a film, not a movie.

Now I want a hard-boiled egg. UGH!

Nice shot of the water boiling after sabastian says he can’t.

See how different the color pallatte is between the locations…
