I tried an episode or two. Didn’t take. ):
Edit: In fact, I groaned upon reading that title just now.

We could do Yukikaze to go along with the Aircraft podcast…
Ah, that makes sense, in the crudest possible way.
Nothing makes any sense for several episodes. That’s one of the things I liked about it.
That’s a good one. Sky Crawlers too.

Actually I don’t remember Sky Crawlers well. But, it’s reasonably short and on netflix.
It’s a series I have to pay attention too? d:
The character style didn’t appeal to me either. They looked like Batman characters.
It was very similar to Batman in a lot of ways, especially with the detective stuff. It does sort of go insane about halfway through.
Not those fairies. d:

No wonder you found it appealing. d:
From Wikipedia:
The UN establishes five bases on a planet named “Fairy” to continue the offensive against the JAM with the Fairy Air Force (FAF) leading the way.
So Yukikaze then? And we will do a Mech series after that?
It doesn’t sound nearly appealing when described that way!
http://www.anime-planet.com/anime/yukikaze
“In the distant future, Earth is being invaded by a mysterious alien race known as the JAM. Though suffering heavy casualties, mankind unites and repels their advance, pushing them back to their homeworld of Fairy. As to not take any chances of another attack, an expeditionary force is formed to pursue and eradicate any who managed to flee. The campaign is successful, with all but a few small pockets of JAM completely destroyed, and preparations are made for the fleet to return to home. Enter Leiutenant Rei Fukai, the pilot of a reconnaissance fighter jet known as the Yukikaze. With victory close at hand, he is assigned to do one final sweep of Fairy to put an end of the threat for good. However, during the flight, he is attacked by an unknown jet that appears to one of mankind’s own, and barely manages to escape. Though the JAM are all but gone, it seems a new, more deadly threat has emerged, fiercely determined to stop the fleet from returning home alive…”
Ah, it’s a Gonzo series. It was ok despite that. d:
Sure, I’ll expect you to watch Sky Crawlers for homework though. d:
According to anidb.net, the eps are 47, 28, 30, 31, and 48 minutes. Just over 3 hours. Wanna split that over two weekend or one?
I did not realize Gonzo made anime, he is more talented than I thought…
I already watched the Skycrawlers movie… Depressing but interesting.
Your choice. There are no conflicts until 10.
I enjoyed the visuals. I found them stunning.
I dun care either way, though my preference is one weekend. Omra?
Yeah we’ll split up the episodes over two weekends…
