I totally missed tonight’s episode–working late. Is it going to reair?
It was from Exodus II, right? I was pretty excited.
Friday night on Sci-Fi? I think I have seen that promoted. I do not have “local channels” anymore as it was being banked upon that NBC Universal would not do something like what it has done relative to iTunes.
Here’s a resource I always check when I miss shows. I don’t know how this site even stays up, but it doesn’t take too long for someone to post something. Hours of entertainment:
Yep, was pretty sure it was BSG, though I did rewind it to look again. Sadly it was on VHS so I couldn’t just pause and zoom in.

Pretty sure it was Peggy blowing up in Exodus PII…at least that is what it looked like and the speculation over at Skiffy.
I got all giddy when I saw that. I have to say right now the bionic starbuck is the only thing keeping me watching.
Yup, just slowmoed it and its Exodus Part II just as the Raptors are leaving, and if you listen carefully you can hear the BOOM of Pegasus hitting the Basestar.
I have watched the first two episodes of Bionic Woman and I have to say I rather liked them. Yes, it’s not like the BSG miniseries where after I finished watching it, I promptly started praying for them to make a regular series of it as soon as possible. No, it isn’t that good. But still, I think BW is pretty good. I actually loved Katee Sackhoff in this, I thought her character was deliciously evil and made me crack up. I think she’s great in this. I actually didn’t find her stiff. I find Jamie Summers a bit stiff, but hoping it is partly her working to lose her accent (like we wouldn’t have been cool with a british accent? I LOVE a british accent) and partly the writers need to work out the dialogue a bit.
But all in all I’ve enjoyed it so far. I think it is fun to watch. I am hoping if NBC screws it up and doesn’t decide to renew the contract that maybe Sci-Fi will pick it up since they are in colaboration on the project.
Just my two cents. Thought I’d share.
I agree – we’ve watched both episodes so far and the only thing keeping us watching is the glimpse of our favorite BSG folks. The view of the Peg in last week’s episode was pretty cool —
my question is…how can you walk through an empty house, have BSG on ye olde TV, and NOT sit and watch it? GAHH!! What were they thinking??
“Hey, a plague wiped out the whole town…”
“Blah, blaah, watching BSG. shhh…”

Tigh?? In a BAR??? What’re the odds?

I was really eager to see this show, partly to see how Michelle Ryan was in it after having seen her on UK tv. The pilot looked promising, with the pain in the ass sister and the family issues surrounding them. Katee looked great and nicely hammed up the evil whilst Jaime had enough uncertainty and vulnerability to make future development interesting.
Then I saw the second episode…from which point things started to suck like a big thing that sucks a lot. The BSG clip was fun, as was the continued ‘spot the extra’ game but they managed to turn a more edgy pilot with promise into just another ‘secret agency fighting bad guys’ show. No more disfunctional family - dropped the interesting sister for a run of the mill version and made the plot into a neat ‘there is a threat, we stop it and show some fighting along the way’ format. Dashing back to see her little sister in a talent show for a happy ending pretty much killed it for me.
Couple more episodes like this and I will spend my bit rate elsewhere !
Haha! Indeed! I did a double take when they showed the close-up of the fire fight… then I heard the all-too familiar whine of vipers and nearly squealed. I’m with everyone - I think I’m only watching this because of the BSG folk and to see Starbuck back in action. It’s enough right now to tide me over until Razor, but as a whole I’m not being grabbed by the show.
Glad there are enough of you still watching BW to notice the tv thing… the second it popped up on my DVR, I jumped on this forum to see if anyone else had seen it. Hommage to BSG is always a great thing. Maybe the producers also realize that the only fan-base they have for the show are desperate BSG fans?? ^_-
I’m not thrilled or disappointed with BW. I want it to get better. After three episodes, it still feels rushed. I can’t buy all of it yet. I do think there is a lot to work with- it’s well cast. Katee is so great, I’d love to see them give Jamie some of her passion, just a bit would be fine.
And by flawed I mean that I just feel like I’m watching alias, and I wasn’t so fond of it the first time. But the acting is good enough, Katie rocks in it and even the lead actress is good, although her character isn’t so immediately satisfying as Katie’s but its good in different ways. All in all I think it has room to grow into something good, I hope and if not it’s alias with some more special effects. And there could be worse things,
I’m looking at you flash Gordon!!!
GAH!
I was just going to post that I am getting annoyed by the blatant alias rip offs:
and it goes on, I had pretty high hopes for this show but not it’s bugging me
