Alas there is no chance of me making it to next year’s meet up. I’ll just have to make do fighting off the zombies here in Adelaide.
However if there is a 2011 meetup, now there is a definite possibility of me being able to go.

We’re looking at the third weekend in March (same as last year) since it’s during my spring break and some others, but we haven’t solidified it yet. (Sorry cackleberry. We miss you!)

Well I want to, but unless we want to do Christmas time in the cold we were thinking spring sometime. It might be warm enough by early March, but was thinking we may have to wait until April/May

Just wanted to let everyone know that we most definitely haven’t forgotten about this. We’re working to get all our ducks in a row, etc. to make it happen. There’s a lot of planning involved to make this kind of event happen on our (and your) budget, but it’s gonna go.
Good news: we’re finding some more options this year, and the positive experience everyone gave the hotel, restaurant, and bar we worked with last year is making it easier for us to schedule events this year. Awesome stuff!
Sounds great. The good experience with the hotel, restaurant and the Irish Rover was mutual for all of us. Friendliest people in Sci-Fi.
