Just wondering? I’ve got lots of travel plans coming up in the next several months, but if a TX meetup is on the horizon, I want to start thinking about planning for it, on a broad level.
There will most definitely be a 2010 GWC National Meetup here in Frisco, and we’re currently planning for the same time frame of Spring. We’ve begun the process of planning and booking, but hotels and other facilities don’t really rush this early… 
Sorry, not trying to rush you. Just trying to mentally plan so I can put a bug in my hubby’s ear about it. Maybe save up some cash and think about time frame. I appreciate the response. It gives me some info to work with for now.

Just in case I can actually make this meet up, can I request that it not happen in April? That’s going to be a crazy month for me.
Woot! I’ll just start my GWC Meetup fund now for next year then. 
I know when we were in NYC we were talking about doing in the same time from as last year - mid March, or at least sometime in March. It avoids most major holidays (unless Easter is in there) as well as a fair amount of graduations/first communions/other spring like parties.
Plus it also avoids it being hot.

Easter next year is April 4th. Spring break for TX schools was the week that we had this year’s meet-up…hence the craaaap-load of people I encountered at the Alamo and Johnson Space Center during the week prior to the weekend. Next year I do the meet-up first then go visiting elsewhere.
Oh and we can always celebrate my B-day. :)
Last year’s meet-up was 2 days after my b-day.

I’ll be happy to keep up with this… hopefully I won’t have to be a 2010 meetup misser (well, without doctoral exams there should be a bit more flexibility… lol)
A GWC Meetup is always hot. Especially since everyone brings their own Horga’hn.

I’m already incredibly excited about the big meetup. The only problem is exercising enough patience to wait until next year to see everyone. I’ve been working on my lie-detecting skills, so watch out for me when we play Werewolf.
I looked at getting to meet everyone as my present, no cake needed.

True - if we do this at the same time as last year we can have cake - if I remember correctly there are several of us with birthday’s around that time.
