I am in Michigan sir, I assure you we have guns. However, the best weapon to have in a zombie attack is a machete. They don’t run out of ammo.

You’re less likely to get bitten by the unholy hordes while using a gun. Use it until it runs out of ammo and then fall back on the machete.

Ammo is good, but you gotta pack at MINIMUM 3 guns (2 hand, 1 shot) and a cutting or slicing weapon. I prefer a crowbar, has TONS of other uses besides dispatching the undead. Removing boards from windows to make an escape, Moving heavy furniture in front of doors to get some sleep, even hooking on tall stuff to climb it.
In regards to the meet-up, well, The Lurker is THERE! Cant wait.

You pack a carbine, preferably with a silencer and micro aimpoint or equivalent with backup iron sights. Preferably an M4 variant with a short-stroke piston in 5.56. As far as a sidearm, high capacity automatic in a common caliber. So either a double stack .45 or a double stack 9mm. Something like the XDM that’s 19+1 with 9mm would do the trick.
Shotguns are bad, not enough range.
Crowbars are good though.
