If I were an officer or enlisted man, I’d not find anything that Adama has done in conflict with the goal of helping humanity survive. I’d think we’re in a wild goose chase by now, but the old man has kept us alive so far, so I would still trust him. All the democracists have done is help us become occupied by the cylons and lose 4000 people in the process.
I voted for Adama because as much as I have ever been tempted to mutiny, I don’t think I could ever do it. And law, as I understand it, has always been written with an open mind, knowing that public opinion can change and there is usually some way to accomplish that change legally and non-violently. Now, that may not be the case in this fictional universe, I just don’t know because they don’t say.
I voted Adama. He gotten us this far. He’s only human, he’s gotten the craaap kicked out of him emotionally just like everyone else. But he appeared to be starting to try and regroup a little when the mutiny occurred. Had he and Roslin been given a little more time I think they might have kicked back into gear.
Joining with the Cylons is really not an option anymore. It’s time to stop fighting or die. There’s no way either side can survive continued outright conflict. They need to adapt to the new situation, impossible as it seems, or face slow extinction.
I’m with Mr. Lister as well.
I would tend to be very suspicious and probably unhappy with a Cylon alliance, but without a good leader to follow, I’d have no hope of regaining stability and I’m not keen to live in a contained space in total anarchy.
Follow tHe lead of Gaeta and Zarek? Ha! If I felt mutiny was the only option, I’d lead it myself given the choice of those two.
DeathbyTray said it better than I could have.
I just rewatched the ep like 2 days ago. and i gotta say, this is some crazy stuff. I mean i saw mutiny on here but i wasn’t expecting this. Gods the fleet is really frakked up. But i would stay loyal to Adama.
Adama til the end. starbuck is crazy.
Baltar FTW!
