Words with Friends

Got an iPhone/iPad/iTouch and want to play Scrabble with GWCers? Get this app. It is awesome. Badger is currently kicking my ass. I need other people who can beat me too. I’m SolaiGWC. Let’s play! Post your name here if you want to jump in.

That should read: “…want to play game similar to but legally distinct from Scrabble…”

Could someone of you explain to me, why “Jedi” wasn’t accepted as a word??!
What dictionary is the application going anyway?

Not sure what the rationale for acceptable words is. I played Batman, and that was accepted.

I’m regwysocki.

I play with a lot of the teachers at my school, and they kick my butt every
time. They somehow come up with 3 letter words that score them 60 points.

I just got on under the name Cwyn, if anyone is interested in a game.

Well, by Scrabble rules Batman would be a proper noun and unacceptable, while Jedi is a bit more iffy. Regardless, Scrabble uses its dictionary as the ultimate guide, not sure what WWF uses.

Kinda late finding this thread, but I’ve been loving Words With Friends since I got it a month or so ago. Always seem to have at least one or two games going at all times. Hit me up if you like, name is “Doerzer”. I almost guarantee you’ll win!:slight_smile:

My name is janitorbob. Always up for a game.

Just found this post after posting in the wrong place - sorry.
