'Wool' Omnibus-Hugh Howey

Hello,

I came across this on Amazon as suggested reading for my Kindle.
I was just wondering if anyone has read this series and if so, opinions?

Thank you!

I haven’t read this yet, but I do recall a recent article saying that Ridley "Blade Runner " Scott had read it and was interested in a movie effort of some sort. I’ll look for linkage later, but I think it was on io9.com.

Edit. … slinky linky
OB

OOh! Thank you, OB! Here I thought I was missing some huge link in the indie-book chain!
This series is probably on it’s way to ‘sleeper’ hit status…

And speaking of Ridley Scott (in a roundabout way) I just started reading ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep’
co-inky-dinky!!

I’ve read the first 5 or so of the Wool books. I really like them a lot, post-apocalyptic styling and a vault below the Earth full of survivors, and mystery.

The first book really sucks you into the world, and a few of the mysteries it holds. After that you’ll probably be hooked, and the next books really flesh out some more of the characters, which is something I felt was lacking in Book #1. Certainly a page turner, and the price is right on Kindle. Worth your time for sure.
