WIl’s latest podcast does an amazingly hilarious commentary of the TNG’s first season episode of Code of Honor.
[ in case you forgot ] Code of Honor is the one where the African planet kidnap Tasha and hold a vaccine over the head of the crew in order to get them to let them keep Tasha.
It is nice to see that Wil realizes just how gay Wesley’s character was in the first couple of seasons…

Awesome, awesome stuff. If you haven’t checked out Wil’s site, podcast, and books, run (don’t walk) to do so. Though I don’t share the hate for Wesley, it’s important to note that Wil has a ton to contribute on life in general. I often find applications for his musings about his daily schedule, family, and interests in my own life – and they’re entertaining even when they have nothing to do with me.
That, and his “change of career” helped inspire my own. 
Anyway, definitely follow the link above and check it out. It’s great stuff. And one of these days (post Galactica run) we’ll have to find a way to talk him into joining us on GWC as a guest.

As for wesley hate, I am not a hater of Wesley, just of Wesley while his mom was on board the ship… Once she departed for Starfleet medical, his character got WAY Better… and towards the end, I really loved his character.
What’s the old saying?
“Fire at Wil!”
“No no! We like Wil, fire at Wesley!”
Works better if you hear it spoken. Also, it’s kinda weird if you think about his real name vis a vis his character name. Guess it could work a couple of different ways.
Do miss him guesting on TechTV back before that station was utterly destroyed.

Yikes. I looked ahead on your bookstore’s upcoming events, and Orson Scott Card (Ender’s Game, et al) is doing an appearance/signing in August. Cool bookstore !

I can’t believe my luck in having such a great bookstore so close! I can walk there from work, and often do. MG also hosted a panel at Comicon last year, and some staff help put out a podcast called Adventures In Scifi Publishing.

I mentioned the GWC crew would love to get him on the show sometime, and he said he’d love it, but he’s not caught up yet- only on ep 10 of season 3 and doesn’t want to be spoiled. Maybe someday…
