Why do I most of the time see the title Lost written in capitals (LOST). I understand that the titles on the show have it written in capitals but loads of times in articles etc I’ve seen it written like that. Is there any particular reason for this (not that I’m complaining or anything)?
That’s a fantastic question. I’ve always known its in all capitals but have never given it much thought. Creator’s prerogative perhaps?
no idea, other than to pay homage to the way it appears in the title screen, but i regularly refer to LOST as LOST.
Could it be yet another secret meaning? spooky music
Could it be an acornym? er… acronym?
Long Oceanic Scientific Theories?
Its a conspiracy set about by the Dharma Initiative where anytime some one types the word LOST they subsonically using the electromagnetic powers of the island to hold down your shift key. just try and type LOST in lower case it doesn’t work:eek::eek:
Perhaps because of the supreme greatness of the show… Just a guess!
Maybe they want to make sure the hard of hearing can read it.
See, nouns are supossed to be capitalized. But lost is so grea thtat you need to capitlaize the whole show. No one says DANCING WITH THE STGTARS (As a matter a fact it should be a new ru;e on the board that Dancing with the stars be written in 8 font)
Would it have anything to do with readers not messing up the verbv lost with the noun “Lost”>
Given that theory shouldn’t we be fans of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA?
dont forget EMILYFROMOHIO
I figure their caps lock was stuck and they just left it so people will talk about what it means. Kinda like “and they have a plan.”
