This is a fun little sampling to see which doctor ranks the highest among fans.

As much as I always loved Tom Baker, I have to give it to David Tennant. His acting is formidable. He can swing from gravitas to goofy in seconds, and neither is forced. You can see aspects of previous Doctors in his performances; he even gave “John Smith” and “Donna Doctor” enough of a twist to be clearly separate characters. And he’s just fun.
I will have to invest more time watching the new series. I just miss the scarf!
