Plays the Chief big time really frakin with his head.
Beats the crap out of Athena.
Fraks Helo in front of Athena who is bound and gagged and bleeding.
Kidnaps Hera, boxes her and takes off with her in a raptor heading for Cavil.
Jumps while too close to Galactica cause big time damage.

I think the one that put it over the edge for me was the frakin’ Helo in front of Athena. I could rationalize everything else. She is running for her life or she is Cavil’s agent and doing what is appropriate for playing that side of the fence. But frakin Helo was just plain mean and evil. She could of made up some lame excuse, could of walked away but decided to take the low road instead.

It could be that angle but I saw it more like a intentionally hurtful thing.

And they try not to shoot spies so they can exchange them for the spies the other side caught. But on this case I think they will shoot her or she has the Hera card that she can play for her life. But Boomer is pretty messed up I’m pretty sure she doesn’t care to die now.

That’s probably Cavil’s plan. But, if there are no spies to trade, they’re shoot. And spies treat each other with more sympathy than solders do spies. Solders hate spies.

I was trying to decide whether that “innocent 8” was murdered or just knocked out. I think she was just unconscious. But if the Chief actually meant to kill her, then I am stunned and pissed off. Maybe we’ll find out next week.

I think she’s unconcious, too… it’s not Chief’s personality to go kill somebody like that.

Boomer is Boomer. I was shocked when the whole thing went down, but in the end, not surprised. She had a plan, she did it, and I hope Athena beats the craaap out of her when they meet again.

But I’m so pissed off with Chief right now.

It’s the Gaeta Syndrome… Gaeta’s douchy-ness for me was about: You really didn’t realize that when you got in bed with Zarek, you’d have to kill these people to take over the government? Seriously? I wanna grab the Chief and do the same thing: You didn’t see this coming? These people should frakin know better… but strangely, I totally believe that they would do it, that it’s not a problem with the writing… people do stupid $hit all the time.

So: we got one character blinded by Idealism… we got a second character blinded by Love. Who’s next, and what are they gonna be blinded by? Now I’m wondering which other favorite characters are gonna get Gaeta-itis. Cause you know it’s gonna happen.

No kidding. The biggest problem with the Daniel-is-Starbuck’s-dad theory in my mind was how did those two end up together. I suppose they had tequila on the colonies, and Daniel was Ellen’s favorite…

Honestly, I suspect that the piano was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I can’t see how anybody artistic, Cylon or no, would be able to stay with such a solder of the Clint Eastwood verity like Socrata.

I’d like to say Boomer but she just knew how to get what she wanted. I can’t hate her for that. I hate the CHIEF for that, for somehow putting his own stupid dreams ahead of justice and fairness for all. I get that he sees Boomer as a link to much better days, and a possible future with a child and stuffed animals, but come ON, man.

I hate to admit it when Roslin is right, but that woman knows her Boomer.
