Hera is not dead. That much you can read into the story. As far as Hera being taken to Cavil, I think Ellen hit that one on the head. I think Athena, Caprica 6 and the President are some how going to rescue her and I feel maybe the head visions are going to help.

I think Laura Roslin was a pretty big douche tonight. When Chief made a personal request to save Boomers life, Roslin should have foreseen the possibility that the Chief was capable of such actions.

I was trying to decide whether that “innocent 8” was murdered or just knocked out. I think she was just unconscious. But if the Chief actually meant to kill her, then I am stunned and pissed off. Maybe we’ll find out next week.

Boomer is Boomer. I was shocked when the whole thing went down, but in the end, not surprised. She had a plan, she did it, and I hope Athena beats the craaap out of her when they meet again.
But I’m so pissed off with Chief right now. This is not the loyal, thoughtful, common-sense Galen Tyrol we’ve come to know and respect. I understand his wanting to rescue his ex-girlfriend from execution. But like so many people on Galactica these days, he chose a really shit way to go about meeting his goals. He knocked out a random 8 (hopefully didn’t kill her :eek:), and set Boomer free to go assault Athena. Granted, he didn’t know that Boomer was going to kidnap Hera and frak Helo by tricking him into thinking she was his wife while his wife sat tied up in a bathroom stall watching them…But where exactly did he think she was going to go when she escaped?
Galactica needs all its Raptors for the planet-hunt–was he hoping she’d find them a place to live, thus redeeming herself? Did he think she might go back to Cavil, and…I dunno, sabotage Cavil, sway Cavil against genocide, or something? What did Boomer tell him she was going to do? And once the plot was revealed–because no matter how it went down, it was going to be found out–Chief would have be locked up in the brig. And then where would his responsibility to the Galactica be?
Frakked, that’s what. The whole crew, the whole fleet, was depending on him to keep the ship together for a few more jumps until they could find a place to live, and he pissed it away to break his crazy ex-girlfriend free. Not cool, Chief. Not cool at all.

I agree with everything you said. Adding that that Tyrol killed or at least attacked an innocent 8. Also add in that it looked like many people died or were hurt from Boomer jumping to close to the ship. Boomer was sent there with something to do. I can’t be made at a spy doing her job. Tyrol on the other hand is part of a crew and he betrayed them. Every death and every bad thing Boomer did is on Tyrol’s head.
