Cavel wins it all being responsible for everything that happened, and all that because he feels sorry for himself and he’s a cry baby. He’s like a reverse Pinochio. I would put him close to the next supernova and put out his eyes and ears just before it happens.
I don’t understand why they brought in Hodgeman, who is distracting because he’s recognizable. His comments were bizarre. With SO much going on in this episode, I can’t figure out why they gave him that much screen time.
I can see where you wouldn’t want Cottle doing brain surgery, but the specialist didn’t even need to be a speaking part.
I shouldn’t complain though, since i LOVED this ep.
As much as I enjoyed his performance, it was a little gratuitous. Maybe they just wanted to lighten what was an hour long history lesson. I seem to remember Matt Groening saying something to the effect of after a certain amount of time with deep, heady stuff, they would be sure to set Bart’s pants on fire, to keep things funny.
Cavil definitely wins biggest douche - now that Gaeta is dead. And I have to say - orchestrating the end of humanity certainly wins over being a whiny bitch.
Cavil, um I mean John, created the Cylon plan, Kill the humans, Kill the FF, and get back home in time for a bowl of cornflakes.
No, this a way worse than Gaeta. There are odd parallels: a certain petulant, whiny self-entitled attitude. But Gaeta’s about a 7 or an 8. Cavil takes it to 11.
Right on. Both Cavil and Gaeta claimed that “Justice” was the reason for their actions.
like I said in another thread. He was doing ( rapeing or paying for the services of [either one could be argued] )his “mom”. Got to ge Cavil.
Ye Gods, that’s getting into Adm Cain’s crazy, but with a sick, sick twist.
Oh, and let’s not forget the Cain and Able parallel. Cavil was jealous of God’s/Mom’s/Ellen’s favoritism toward Daniel and so he came to hold everything he represented as bad, weak, or just wrong and murdered him.
I vote for the resin that Tyrol is going to “douche” Galactica with. 
After the developments of No Exit, is “skeevy” still an adequate term to describe Cavil, or did the meaning of the term simply get worse?
