Who's left to fight for real governance?

I totally agree, Aset. I think that the Quorum of 12 colonial representatives made sense right after the attacks, but there should definitely have been a transition phase into a new form of more appropriate representation. Especially, ESPECIALLY, after they settled on a New Craprica. It would make sense not only functionally, one would think, but also psychologically in helping people adjust to their new situation and not continue to hold on to a past that is never going to happen again. It could also have been used to help foster a more unified view with identifying as members of the fleet rather than members of the nuked colonies. I.e. if North America got destroyed and we all had to resettle to Antarctica, it would totally make sense, in the beginning, to identify and be represented by where you formerly lived, but after a time, it just wouldn’t make sense anymore. It might be a natural tendency, but it wouldn’t be healthy, helpful, or rational.
