It isn’t a spoiler because I have no idea who he’s going to be playing, but the PC guy on the Mac commercials (is his name John Hodgeman? I don’t remember–he used to be on The Daily Show, too) is making a cameo appearance at some point this season. So, it seems you’re kind of getting your wish.
I know he is dead now so he can’t star, put a picture somewhere on the Galactica of the late Lorne Greene would be cool.
I would love to see Patrick Stewart. We could find out that he is the Cylon God and his name is Locutus. :eek:

I know this thread is for fun, but I was thinking just the other day how glad I was that BSG didn’t go the route of using famous guest stars much. I think it sometimes looks a little cheesy for a show to use a famous name to promote one episode.
Lucy Lawless and Richard Hatch were obviously known to the fans of the genre before they came on, but at least they appeared in recurring roles rather than as “next week’s special guest”. You know what I mean?

Simple - Keith Olberman. He could be the journalist that unites the journalists and have a daily Countdown that would feature all of the things that Ros and Adama are doing wrong. Just imagine “worst persons in the world” and special commentary!!! I bet Baltar would make the WPITW list as frequently as Billo does!!!
