Ugh, I haven’t got the intestinal fortitude to sit through the Flintstones and see…I agree, though, this is tortoise, and not dino.
LOVE that sig, by the way…ha!

This is still bugging the heck out of me! Have Baby coming today(I hope) from Netflix so I’ll at least check that movie out.
I took the liberty of reposting this on another board (Straight Dope Message Board) to see if our crew of experts there can come up with anything.
So far, nothing. But they think they have ruled out Baby. Here is a still from Baby; it doesn’t look too close to me.
Umm…I knew it wasn’t Baby (the dino) itself…but from a movie with similar props like used in Baby. Especially since it’s a turtlehead. Suddenly I hear Bill Cosby saying “turtlehead”.
My first thought was totally Never Ending Story…but then you shot that down. I will have to meditate on this…and by meditate i mean surf the net…
Well I’ve watched Baby (just for the heck of it), Dark Crystal and Dinotopia this weekend and it’s not from any of these. I’ve got the Flintstones coming from Netflix next week I’ll watch out for it again.
I’ve ruled out the Flintstones movies…gods help me after sitting through those. Without more information about how long the shop has had it from Brokencosmos it’s going to be hard to pin down.
Holy frijoles, you’re got guts. Of course, now they’re probably spilled across the TV room floor, but nonetheless…
It certainly felt like that after watching. LOL I hadn’t seen them before so I didn’t actually know the torture I was in for. But at least they are ruled out for that prop.
This is STILL bugging me…it’s not Theodore Rex. Have to search my old movies for more dino stuff…or borrow from my nephew.
My initial inclination is towards the Dinosaurs TV show. However, it also looks like it could have been from the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (not one of the Turtles themselves, obviously).
My thought too, at first except this is what we were thinking of, and it’s not that close.
It looks old enough that my guess would be the original “Land of the Lost” or possibly even the 50’s “Lost World.”
