they do such a good job capturing the time periods in the film with Megan’s hair & makeup. Farrah hair and blue eyeshadow. oh my

Yeah. This movie captures this generation perfectly, not just in the makeup and outfit, but their mentality and outlook of the world.
If you think about it, Meg Ryan has been history’s one of the most influential person, as far as hair styles go. As has Farrah Fawsset.

When I lived in NY, I tried to go for a stroll on dates to Washington Sq park, and I’d quote random line from this movie while still standing near the arch. No one ever got that. That’s when it occurred to me that girls 5 years younger than me (or younger), they have mostly never seen this movie. It was sad realization.
she looks like such a stewardess in this early 80s bit. and could he look any dorkier in that vest?
