When Harry Met Sally Frak Party, 12/22 Monday, 10PM ET

I do, in a perverted way.

Well, that’s what professional women wore in the 80s. I love Leia’s explanation for the urge to marry.

My wife went to NYU. First time that happened to me, I kept asking the guy what he wanted my wife (then girlfriend) didn’t notice right away. When she did, she grabs me away. I’m like, “What the heck? The guy was asking me something.” She said, “Yeah. Do you want drugs?” I said, “Ooooh”

my mom, too
but at least you know of a better plan- hold out til you meet a man who is on a date with your best friend and get a beautiful apartment and an ugly coffee table

speaking of criminal–Sally’s glasses

Note to adulterers: they ain’t gonna leave til they get caught and even then…you’ll become collatoral damage. I talk like I’m speaking from experience. Well, 3 in the family and 4 friends soooo I know a few.

Never done it. Never will.

Yeah, that seems to be how a lot of most parents feel. And I had a few friends who are just like that, also… they were always kinda uneasy, uncomfortable girls, and then they got married and, Boom!, just like that, brimming with confidence all the time. So weird.

I just don’t get that. What’s wrong with being single? Especially if you’re happy. If you’re not, well different story.

good man .

This is like a Woody Allen film without annoying Woody Allen.

Nah I really love Woody Allen.

bugs me that Harry’s always telling Sally what she thinks

“In the same hosiptal.”

Old people are hilarious.

LOL–I knew a New Yorker who hated this movie because he said it was Manhattan rip-off with a feel-good ending

I love WA except when he’s writing celluloid love letters to ScarJo. Bleh. It’s the only thing that can ruin her for me other than her singing.

I love this mailbox scene. I had a friend in college who used to really do that with her letters. It was infuriating.

Did anyone bring up WHMS during the infamous high-maintenance v. low-maintenance Star Wars Arc debate?

Yeah. That always bugged me too. Is he right? Or does she just not know her self well enough. I mean, goodness he talks fast. It would stun me.

This is so not Manhattan. I mean that is a really vague argument.

Yeah, walking around there and past the Stonewall and around there to get home, I get approached by drugdealers and men who want sex. One time there was a guy who wanted both… he practically followed me all the way home, until he realized that I live directly next door do a police station.

I don’t remember if it came up in that debate.

I love the split-screen scenes.

yes, he was a real Harry

Is this movie where the concept of “high maintenance/low maintenance” was first documented?

One time my wife had an assignment for art class. We went to the Museum of Art and some guy was staring at me from across the room . My wife noticed first. She nudged me and I was freaked. He made a bee-line for me and touched my arm.

At that moment I felt for every woman ever ogled at. He was soooo undressing me with his eyes. He looked like a hungry animal. I felt violated.
