GWC
RDM
Lipstick Aliens
2 Irish Geeks and a TV
Onion Riado News
ive listened to almost all of them posted here but these are the ones that i subscribe to
Just found a new one that’s pretty cool called The Dragon Page. It’s about sci fi novels. They interview authors and review books.
Dragon pavge is a member of farpoint media,…in other words there the same dudes from slice of scifi and winging’ it 3d, and there pretty cool.

Yes, that’s a lot of podcasts, but I work at home one or two days a week and my iPod is basically attached to my head when I’m in the office and not in meetings.

About halfway throught the summer, I started going through BSG withdrawal. After curling up in a ball on the floor of my room and shaking for a few days, I got on iTunes and found every BSG podcast out there. GWC was the last one I listened to (started in October and caught up by December), and is my favorite. I look forward to the podcast and the forum discussion every week.
great list everyone.

I work nights so it is great to have lots of fresh content. Podcasting Rocks!
There was a interesting thing that happened to me about a month ago. In one night I heard Emilyfromohio call in to five different podcasts. It blew my mind.
That girl is prolific. What would we all do without her. I do have to say she has great taste in podcasts.

…and finally Sound and Spirit
Not a podcast, but instead, fantasy writer Ellen Kushner’s fascinating PRI broadcast (and streaming) radio show, exploring the world’s myths, cultures and religions through music and story. Very Joseph Campbell. Each week focuses on a different theme, such as Heroes, Music as Magic, Cycles, Food of the Gods, Walking the Path, Ghosts, Tricksters… Give it a listen.

Best non-GWC Podcast: GeeksOn. I’m very surprised no one here has listed it yet. It’s a podcast by geeks, for geeks, covering topics geeks like to talk about. It’s a bit sporadic (often there’s just one 'cast per month), but everything that does come out is excellent.
Other podcasts I listen to:
Ask a Ninja
Battlestar Galactica Podcast (RDM’s)
Books you should Read
Cranky Geeks
The Definitive Word
Filmed but not Forgotten
Filmspotting
(GWC)

My podcast listening is waxing again. One of my recent pickups is Wired’s GeekDads podcast, (iTunes / RSS) which will appeal to quite a few around here for obvious reasons. (I’m not a dad, but being about that age I find the topics covered interesting. There’s a “These younglings today” vibe that resonates.)
The not-so-obvious reason is that every other podcast is now a music-oriented one. They’ve enlisted Z of hipsterplease.com to point out kid (and adult) friendly nerdtastic music, and it seems to be a good fit. There’s a bit more discussion about the song/artist/etc than happens on Z’s Radio Free Hipster podcast.
And I probably should disclaim that I think of Z as a friend at this point, despite never having met him IRL (and I’m old enough that this still seems weird.) So, there may be some very small bias there.
Smodcast (Kevin Smith and Scott Mossier)
The 10th Wonder (Heroes)
X-Play’s daily video podcast
Skynext Terminator podcast (Sarah Connor Chronicles and upcoming Terminator movies)
The Official Lost Podcast
The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack
and my final one for now is Geek Out Online! (everything geeky)
I’m late to the show, as usual, both with this reply and with listening to podcasts. I onlystarted listening to podcasts a couple of months ago.
Currently, I listen to:
GWC
Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack
tindog’s Podcast
I’m not real big on tindog. It’s just one guy, no discussion, no fun calls. I’m still looking for a better Dr Who/Torchwood podcast. I guess I’ve been spoiled by GWC and Jay and Jack.
