I have so say, I’m thrilled. I feel like they’ve tightened up the story telling and picked up the pace. I’m liking this much better than the newest chapter of Heroes.
I agree. I’m really glad to see they’ve kept their momentum from season 4. The story is really moving along now and plot threads are coming together.
I think they really struggled through the first half of season 3 but since then they’ve been on a roll.
I think its going great. They are finally answering tons of questions while only asking a few now. I think its gonna wrap up nicely next year
I just hope we don’t get a bunch of Oceanic 6 back home episodes. I want them back on the island!
Its definately upping the ante as far as more action. I agree with algaeater though. even with watching the show since the beginning, its so bizarre to see the oceanic six off island. they’ve been there so long, its like their not at home unless i see foilage around them.
I must be in the minority because I stopped watching it after the season premiere. I thought it was on its way down before but kept giving a chance. I lost interest.
FWIW I stopped watching Heroes as well. Season 1 was grrreat and I am not a comic guy at all. Seasons 2 and the first half of 3 turned me off.
Thats what is so amazing is that I don’t have a single episode of BSG that I wouldn’t watch again and again. That’s rare for me…
Man you are missing some amazng things. This season they are answering a ton of questions every episode now.
With the three day weekend I’ll try to give it another chance.
i have to agree, they r answerin a bunch while asking other good questions… def. try to rewatch it… i find the time ish interesting and that certain people have been to the island:)
I am absolutely loving season 5 right now. It’s nice to know that the main objective right now isn’t getting off the island, but getting the O6 back.
I am loving this season’s pace and depth. This show is so frakin good. It is going to go down in media history as one of the most novel-like television shows ever made.
For now i think The Wire is the most Novel like show. But Lost will be close to it.
Bit late to the party but for me this season has had no dull episodes. Even the most boring one IMO, Namaste, was great. I now just feel sorry for people who gave up. They don’t know what they’re missing.
I’m really pleased with Lost. It’s not perfect, but better than 98% of the television that’s on right now. I get tired with predictable storylines and gaping plot holes and while I felt like they fell prey to that in past seasons (Season 2, I’m looking at you), they’ve suprised me quite a few times this season and seem to be tightening up the story.
They’re answering old questions and raising new ones just long enough to keep our interest piqued. I have faith that they aren’t just throwing random craaaaap out there, now. I think setting the end date saved this show.
I have to totally agree. This season has been fantastic so far. They’ve really kept the story together and I don’t think there has been anything less and a really good episode in the whole season, so far.
Kate seems to have really improved lately too. Her character was really starting to annoy me with how whiney she seemed, plus she looks so much better in the grey vest top.
Also I’ve really taken a liking to Juliet in this season too. Not just because she’s hot. (Humm, i’m starting to sound like Sean.)
My wife’s also commented on the fact they’ve really cleaned up the plot so she’s no longer stressed while watching it and i’m not longer getting, “who’s that? what’s going on? Wwwhen are we?”
