Wampa vs. Wumpus. Battle of the cave creatures. One lives in the most uninviting frozen terrain of Hoth. One stalks unfortunate hunters, some of whom are dim enough to purse the beast armed with only one arrow. Two beasts enter a cave… which one leaves alive?
The 8-bit graphics and the textual format would easily confuse the single, simple minded Wampa thus giving the Wampa no chance in Zork to win.
Despite the graphic I selected, I encountered the Wumpus on a mainframe… I wanna say a Sperry Univac.
Wampa is a killer, but Wumpus has a higher body count. I voted Wumps.
