Wow I didnāt watch closely at all the first time I saw this. I didnāt see the Buy n Large outlet mall sign next to the Moon Rover or Wall-e chargin up near a sun in like .5 seconds. The Axiom is a cool lookin ship. Iād go off into space aboard it.
Weāre to assume that there are/were other colony/vacation/cruise/whatever you want to call it ships right?
Thatās what I got from the billboards at the beginning of the film about taking cruises in space while the Earth was cleaned up.

I love that bit and also how when security scan his spot in line and the security bot crosses the fourth wall and looks back and Wall*E is gone. Great stuff. The whole beginning and in part most of the filmās appeal steals from silent films and Chaplin.
