150 Media Geeks to follow on Twitter.

(As RTed by Felcia!)

@bearmccreary also joined twitter. BTW, his scored series Human Target and game Dark Void have just premiered.

@GWCnews has been created to share news, announcements and other GWC-centric craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap.

Has anyone created a twitter list for GWC folks?

There is at least one earlier in this thread, but the easiest thing to do is to look at the new @GWCNews and see who’s subscribed (it’ll probably take a few days for everyone to get onboard with that–it was created hours ago.)

If you’re new to twitter, take the time to go through the other posts here. There’s a lot of interesting people to follow.

Well the power of the Twitter list is that you can follow that directly making it easier for noobs to join in

If I get a chance I might see if I can screen scrape one together (unless the forum has an api I can get to)

Oh, THAT kind of Twitter list. Try Badgerspoon’s.

Today I interviewed a squirrel in my backyard and then threw to commercial. Somebody help me.

Hi! I couldn’t a thread allready made so I am making one, I have a twitter account and I am not sure you if all do, if you want to follow me on twitter you can, I’d love to chat sci fi with you all.

my account is http://twitter.com/iMallieKat

mine is just hansioux

Schwing! Cheers. I’m not sure how I missed this response. The forums keeps assuming that I read everything every time I load the home page so it’s hard to track down unread stuff.

A list of geeky ladies to follow on Twitter.

Hey Hive mind, question for you:

What’s the best program for handling multiple twitter accounts.
I need to have twitter account for work and one for play, but I want to be able to access them at the same time.

I use Seesmic. It allows multiple accounts and you can set up categories for different lists of followers. You can see all tweets from all your accounts or filter for just the ones you want to see and you can tweet from any account at any time.

Most clients (e.g., Twitterific) let you switch between accounts pretty quickly. Seesmic is the first I’ve heard of that does them all at once (although that could be problematic, I imagine.)
