Season 3 starts tonight. I’m gonna break character and let out a little “Squeeee!”
I was thrilled with the season opener. I am very interested in vampire politics. The Queen is so selfish and surprising immature, I’d love to see her history & how she came to her position. I LOVE Lafayette!!!

As I said to my roommate when I saw this last night - that is either the coolest thing ever, or the dumbest thing ever - I can’t decide.
I did not like the sequence at the end. The bit with the brand on the kidnapper, the magical cell phone googling sequence re: ‘Project Werewolf’, etc. It feels like they realized they only had two minutes left to work with and suddenly crammed an hour of story into a rushed sequence that strained the boundaries of probability.
RE: Ep. 3.
Well, I’d heard there was an… unusual sex scene. And I watched the Tara-Brit Vamp scene. And I was all, “THAT is the weird sex scene people were talking about? I don’t get it.”
Then the end of the episode happened. Euuugh. And I say that without judgment.
Vampire style! Yeah, don’t recommend that unless you have a very skilled chiropractor. 
Last night’s episode was good, it was nice to finally see Alcide.
I was the same way. The sex scene at the end was - just - totally disturbing and unnecessary. I mean - I can NEVER unsee that. I had to watch a couple of episodes of 30 Rock just to cleanse my brain so I could sleep.
I think it was a good reminder that Vampires are not just humans with pointy teeth, they’re the freakin’ undead.
Edit: This is, I think, useful to remember considering the rise in popularity for things like Twilight that.
Nobody thinks Bill’s really switched teams, do they?
During the sex scene at the end, I think he was under compulsion by his maker and she was basically raping him.
And no, I don’t think he has changed teams.
Wow I didn’t look like she was raping him. It looked like he lost his mind and decided to hate"bleep" her with her dang head twisted all the way around. So disturbing. 
Listen to what he’s saying, he’s saying he doesn’t want to do any of the things he’s doing. That’s my read, but I might be mistaken.

anyway–I think he may have switched sides…woudl make for astronger story. Even for a little while unitl he snaps out of it…

I think Bill is doing anything and everything he can to protect Sookie. I think his rage caught up with him, but it’s also a huge distraction for her, which may help to keep her away from Sookie. She’s lost her control over Bill and does want it back.
That said, I’m really wanting more action, not bits and pieces. There’s so much going on that I’m interested in, I want a three hour episode!
