True Blood Marathon

Finally found the time and started to watch True Blood S1 after I’ve heard so many good things about it and it looks to me that it has some similarities in production with Dexter, which I really enjoyed.

So like Baconface did the LOST marathon with her posted comments, I’ll do the same, but not in the insane speed she did.

I encourage you to join, but please keep in mind to use the spoiler tags for episode informations I haven’t watched yet.

If some comments from me might come true in following episodes, it is pure speculation (or a keen eye) from my part, since I try to be spoiler-free for any new episode.

Up until now, I’ve watched the first 2 episodes: Strange Love & The First Taste

Didn’t recognize any of the cast from some other media, even that Anna Paquin (Sookie, as if you didn’t already know:D) was Rogue in the X-Men movies. But the Sheriff was familiar to me somehow. And I was right, he played the strange dude in LOST’s Season 5 “He’s our You” and
tried to bring Sayid to spill his tale.
Otherwise, I noticed the dog acting weird as Sookie was beaten to a pulp by the Rattrays and the picture in Sam’s office of the girl and the dog. That plus him pleading to Sookie to read his mind leads me to the conclusion that HE is the DOG!
What I don’t understand, in the 1st episode Sookie heard his and Tara’s thoughts when they were lecturing her, and it sounded like Sam was hitting on her.

Maybe I can continue with episode 3 tonight and hope we will have as much fun as we had in the LOST thread.

Yay! It’s a fun ride. Not as dramatic or mind-bending as Lost, for sure, but fun.

Good, I need something lighter for my brain.

Episode 3: Mine
We finally meet the tattooed vamp.

Hehe, only glamouring attempt and he is innocent when it doesn’t work.

I still have to get used to no “Previously on…”

Vampire nests…interesting.

Sam is really reminding me of John Schneider’s Jonathan Kent from Smallville.

Bingo, for a split second I thot she was dreaming and I was right.

Yep, now I’m 100% sure. He is the dog.

“Who I really wish coming to Marthaville. Buffy…or Blade”

(I hope that works, youtube is problematicish at the moment.)

Granny knows just too much. Can feel that.

He-he-he.

Oh no! I know that Jason is thinking about taking more than 2 drops of V.

You have no idea how lucky you are to be able to watch 'em all in a row, with no breaks. The cliffhangers are killers!

Actually, I know how lucky I am since I endured 4 Seasons of LOST with cliffhangers every week. Which nearly drove me to go to the Disney Lot and grab the copies of the next episode out of Damon or Carlton’s dead heads.

Well, see, that’s the problem right there. Thinking isn’t really his strong suit.

Cheers! I got to watch the first six seasons of Buffy in re-runs, two each week night, then catch up with 7 in progress.

Have used the false words, “vorhaben” in German is what Jason’s next step would describe.

Ahhh, Buffy. Another series in maybe sometime will have to catch up.

Yup, it’s a good thing he’s pretty and not afraid of physical labor

Continuing with Ep. 4: Escape from Dragon House

Let’s see if Dawn has really settled (meaning she’s DEAD).

:eek: JAson drank the hole thing!!! I wonder what’ll happen now.

Ahh, yeah. That was expected in the oilette.

“Gout”, sounds really nasty.
