Where are the new podcasts???
Got this on tuesday for €20 in Virgin Megastore its a bargain well worth it.
Its the family film of the summer that ticks all the boxes.
I can relate to Audra about how she got dragged to see this - I ended up sitting between my husband and a friend who when the opening credits came up literally squeed then peed their pants over the transformer noises heard. However I did enjoy it immensely - even if the ALL SPARK seemed to deny the laws of physics by going from something really big (and assumingly solid and heavy) to something very small. Im surprised Sam didnt leave his arms behind when trying to run with it…
Actually I forget, it does obey the laws of physics, movie and cartoon physics that is.
I have recently watched it for the first time. luckily i picked up the SE at barnes and nobles for free after i bought battlestar galactica season 2.5 and flags of our fathers.

Maybe this is a common question, but I don’t think it was addressed in the DTA poddcast.
Why aren’t there any female transformers in the film? (Or were there?) Are there even all that many in the Transformers universe? Are they even gendered? Can they reproduce in any fashion or is it all from the AllSpark? AHHH, I have so many questions!

I almost bought Arcee for my son, I don’t thing it’sa matter of Gay as much as known characters being a better bet.
Really does it matter about gender. They are machines and mom was the All-spark after all. I seem to remember in the comics that the Autoboots built Arcee after bowing to public pressure. How hard would it be to simply have Optimus order Ratchet to slap a coat of pink paint on some poor clob-bot and tweak the voice. 
For geek reasons I’d like to see Arcee or Black Arachnia or some other new female.
This movie was technically good, but the extra “comedy” in it distracted me. I cartoon version had the right amount. I mean i still pop it in and watch it now and then, and i was around when the first one came out. Albeit i was a little kid 
Agreed totally. The slapstick stuff was unnecessary and distracting, ultimately detracting from the movie IMOP.

It can on after Generation Kill tonight so I’m watching it in all sexy mcgee HD. Transformers are so friggin detailed it’s not even funny
