I grew up with beast wars and I was wondering if the First series of transformers was worth checking out.
Ok, here’s the thing on that. The G1 series is over 20 years old now… the animation isn’t the best and if compared to the new hotness like beast wars it doesn’t hold up very well.
So IMHO I would say that yes they are more than worth checking out - the stories are great and it’s cool to see where the characters all come from. Just be prepared for some auido flubs and cut mistakes. Also beware - they were aimed at 8 year olds so they tend to state the obvious alot and use stock transformations in the first season… a lot.
Thats cool as long as the story holds up. I don’t have that much of a problem with old tv shows.
Well, it ain’t Shakespeare… I am a rabid fan personally, but I’m not sure how good the show would be to someone who wasn’t suffering from nostalgia the way I am.
