Why Does this scare me? Some one should tell RTD to speak to Joss Whedon first.

Oh dear.
Oh dear oh dear oh dear.
That would be interesting, a TV show with a Male, openly Bi character, on FOX.
I would want this to happen just to watch the heads of the news division staff explode.
Can I ask a question to any of you Torchwood experts out there?
What are the Torchwood Declassified episodes? Are they webisodes? Are they different versions of the regular episodes?
It’s my understanding that this would be a different branch of Torchwood - not the same plot redone - at least I hope that’s the case.
That’s how I’ve been reading it as well. It’s RTD and some of the same producers (and possibly Barrowman), but not a rehash of the Brit plots.
I just wonder about having to cut out all the Doctor Who connections for the American audience. I still think it’s an interesting premise, but one that would have to compete with other supernatural procedurals like Fringe. Although a Torchwood hub with employees who act like professionals, don’t sleep with anything that moves and don’t steal alien tech to use to their own advantage, would actually be refreshing.
Something tells me that RTD would not mind being FOXs bitch for a while. Sigh. So depressing. I thought this was a joke when I first heard it. When I actually read the article, I was stunned to hear that RTD was on board. shaking head
They are mainly behind the scenes stuff. It is the producers and actors talking about the show or the theme of that show. There is normally one for each episode.
They are basically extra’s that they show that would normally be resevered for the DVD’s.
I believe they also used them to fill the extra time they cut out of the show for the earlier time slot.
See in the UK they show it after 9 (post watershed, which allows more stuff) on one night, then on Saturday at an earlier time - they cut some of the racier stuff out, and then fill the time with the declassifieds. At least I think this is what happens.
Well, as Torchwood is part of the British Crown, and American Branch would obviously mean that America itself is part of the Secret British Empire.
Honestly, I could see that being more of an issue than Captain Jack’s choice in bunk-buddy.
Torchwood on Fox? I think it might lose some of the edginess it had on BBC. After the end of Children of Earth, I figured that was pretty much it for the Torchwood gang. Considering what happened to everyone (except Gwen) in the Cardiff branch, and poor Captain Jack went through hell and back himself. But…I’d give it a shot, and see what Fox does.
Clearly you’re not familiar with our rednecks. Queens with crowns are far less upsetting to some than those without.
