Today's Birthday - Armando!

Only on the internet!

Woo-hoo, I’m an OG!

yeah, sorry about the excessive mush, but I couldn’t resist that clip.

In my house, I have birthday WEEK, so I say go for it!

I do that too, and then some. Cuz, you know, what if you have a terrible birthday? Or if your birthday falls on a Wednesday? So it started as a birthday weekend. Then a week. Then I had something I felt like indulging in a couple weeks before, and it started early. One year, for a November birthday, I started September 30th and wrapped it up in early December. Takes all the pressure off, you know?

Next year I’m having a birthday YEAR. HA!

Happy Birthday Week, Armando!

lulz, yeah go you, you diserve it.
I really think i deserve honorary OG, along with Stroogie(Glimfeather), and Leon, man its been a long time in the making:D

If blog posts counted, you’d already be there.

Dude I’d be at like 3000 if teh blog counted.

Now, what does “OG” stand for anyway?

Wooden Ship.

In German.

Way to deflate a balloon !!!:(:confused:

lol thats actually pretty funny

LOL! I love this forum. The esoteric humor alone makes it worthwhile!

Would it be tasteless to make a joke about your avatar being an actual photo? Because if it would be, I won’t do it.

Happy birthday to all who are celebrating this week! Yay! Omg, that video was hilarious!

Esoteric. Sure. Whatever blows your dress up.

I’m surprised it took someone this long to comment on that.

You shoulda stayed away from that seal, sir.

I hope the injury’s not interfering with work too badly. Hopefully, your birthday marks the end of this year’s unfortunate events.

Well, Army had a half day…

I’m done with work, more or less, for the year. I’m having the stitches taken off tomorrow, which I am REALLY looking forward to. I’m able to type a bit with my left hand, but my fingers are still a little stiff. I have a feeling I’ll have to do some therapy for a while. We’ll see tomorrow.

Right now, I think things are starting to look up. I’ve accepted a gig in Baltimore next year. It’s not a full time gig, just an adjunct position, but it’s at a very prestigious school (the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins), so I’ll take the resume building over the salary and benefits–so long as my wife is able to find full time work in the next month (keep your fingers crossed). And hey, at least they’re giving me a commuting allowance, which is something they’re not doing for anyone anymore, so that says something about how they feel about me, even if they couldn’t get the funding for a full time gig.

Besides, now I’ll be able to spend some serious time getting my ensemble funded as we move into the next level of our existence. It’s kind of exciting, if still nerve wracking (we really need the health insurance).
