Time and Again

Imagine you are in New York City in 1882. There are no airplanes, no television, no automobiles…the word ‘nuclear’ does not appear in the dictionary.

…this is all very strange as you fell asleep in 1982.

Time and Again is a classic story of an experiment of mind over matter. The theory goes if you can convince your mind you are in a certain time you will find yourself there as time is not linear.

Without giving anything way, this is simply a beautiful read and a favorite of not just mine, but my wife (and boy does she have high standards and zero tolerance for BS.)

I of course cannot tell you how long it is as I have lent out my copy. It is listed as 400 pages, but I remember this to be a very fast read. I suspect it is 400 pages with wide margins and larger print.

This would be my first recommendation.

Wow - that sounds really interesting. I might look into that one myself.

P.S. I think the word “nuclear” may already be phasing out of the dictionary - at least here in Dallas, where they’re building the George W. Bush Presidential Library.
