I’ve been watching Threshold on DVDs from Netflix. I’m enjoying it. Has anyone else watched it?
Yeah, I did. I was saddened when it was canceled.
I enjoyed the show, although they did have annoying habit of explaining the premise every episode. I really wish there was some closure on it, especially some backstory on the trees made of glass and the weird mutations.
I was sad to see it go as well. I hear they had mapped out a three year arc with a name change to the show for each year.
Took me awhile to get used to seeing Data acting like such a jerk!
Does the DVD include any new/not broadcasted material? I’ve only watched the episodes that were aired.
I enjoyed the premise and liked the point of view it had, kind of like seeing how the Cigarette Smoking Man and his gang worked.
Anyway, it had a lot of potential, but I have to admit there was something missing from it at the same time - maybe the pacing, or not enough characterization, or the dialogue, or something - that it made some sense for it to have been canceled.
The DVD has four unaired episodes; if you’ve seen “Alienville,” you’ve seen everything. It also includes a commentary on the 2-hour pilot, two deleted scenes from the pilot, and bonus features (interviews, visual effects, fractal pattern).
