i was watching Race to Witch Mountain just now and i was reading the wiki which related the story of how the producer selected Calra Gugino for the female lead - apparently he was a fan of her previous show Threshold
This tv series sounds like good stuff… what a waste!
I enjoyed Threshold. It was an interesting concept, like an updated version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It was disappointing when it was cancelled. 
Threshold was pretty good. It had great cast and a great concept. NBC did a fox and kept moving the program time around and put up against some of the top programs at the time with no lead in.
It was exceptional, I believe it was an RDM production if I remember correctly. I always watch it when SciFi runs the series, great cast and wonderful characters.

Actually it was a Brannon Braga (who recently Exec produced FlashForward) production. When I heard about ‘Fringe’, my first thot was, “Sounds like Threshold.” The cast was really great. Carla Gugino is mesmerizing. Spiner played his un-Data self. Peter Dinklage was snarky as frak.
