Yes that’s true I haven’t read Thor in decades (80’s anyone). I though remember that a worthy person could wield Mjolnir.

The distinction is Thor is a BAMF on his own, his hammer just makes him more so.
If you’re worthy to wield the hammer you get to use that hammer but you don’t turn into Thor
Basically on a scale of 1-Thor with hammer(10) a regular dude with the hammer would be a 5
Anyone who hasn’t read Thor or hasn’t read it in a while, I can’t recommend JMS’s run on it enough. (Or, if you just want humor, the Incredible Hercules trade “The Mighty Thorcules.” This happens!)
I haven’t read ‘Thor’ since that awesome arc Walter Simonson wrote with the saga of Beta Ray Bill. That was just amazing!
I never liked the Thor in the ‘Ultimates’ universe, the drunken crazy dude who hangs out with greenpeace…
Hopkins as Odin, with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Thor (Don;t care his name is Hemsworth - he’s still Jim Kirk’s dad) in the back
Uh oh. Looks cheesy/cheap with their armor like that.
“Release the Krak*… er! Damn, wrong mythology… um… er… Fenrir! Yeah, that’s it. Release the Fenrir!!”
Release Jörmungandr!
No wait, don’t do that!
At least not until Thor III: Ragnarok.
Now that is how you end a trilogy.
Yeah; it pretty much turned him into goo in the comics, though … he did kill it!
In the original myth, they kill each other.
OTOH, in the comics, at least, a gelatinous god is still a living god, barely.
how about a Thor trailer?

EDIT: (may wanna catch it befoer Marval yanks it–they neem to be doing that a lot)
I know I’ve been down on this movie a lot (perhaps unfairly as production stills may not be a good indicator), but the trailer looks good. I just hope it’s not a case where all of the good stuff is in the trailer (like Last Air Bender according to some).
and by “some” you mean everyone
but yeah–it looks sweet indeed…
Nice, with Natalie Portman in it, I’ll most likely check that Superhero movie out.
Just because.
ROTFL, I’m very religious but even i liked that.
This is a GREAT tv spot!
