FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFf

ABOUT TIME!

Ive been waiting on info regarding this movie forever.

He’s George Kirk in the beginning of the new Star Trek movie. He’s amazing. I defy anyone to get through his (very brief) scene without sobbing.

raises hand

I did…

Edit: Not sob that is.

Costume looks great! In fairness, I think its one of the easier costumes to translate from drawing to screen, as opposed to something like Captian America or even the X-men.

What’s up with the armor on his arm? I can’t even fathom what that’s supposed to be.

it’s kinda chain-mail-ish, I think. But very true to teh last few years of Thor comics

Scalemail, I’d assume. No doubt ripped from a uru-armored dragon. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, looks like his fore[strike]skin[/strike] arm armor from that version of his costume.

Looks more like quilted armor. Fashioned from the hide of the dreaded Amish dragon.

It’s badass armor is what it is.

Also Captain America wears Scalemail, this is not that.

Don’t laugh. They actually have them.

It’s like some bizarre corollary to Rule 34.

If it’s porn, an Amish version exists of it? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, but you have to settle for an etching.

Don’t be silly. There are also needlepoint and woodcarvings.

Hee, costume! To quote Incredible Hercules, “HE HAS THORPLES!”

I can’t wait and I’ve started not-so-discreetly leaving my JMS-run trades in my husband’s office, on his side of the bed, etc. in an effort to get him as excited about this as I am.

involves carving “wood”? Eeek.
