Theory about tonight - No Exit

I’ve been thinking about the return of Ellen and what knowledge her and Anders will reveal tonight.

While I was researching on the Battlestar Wiki (for the Final Cylon reveal things), I was fascinated by the whole constellations and pantheon correlation. With both, there are 12 but there is also a hidden #13. I also starting thinking about the peculiar thing of Sharon being model #8 and the whole missing #7 thing. Could the number 13 still have some play?

I know. I know. It could just be an oops moment in the writer’s room. But it’s not the first time they’ve had to get out of a corner they had painted themselves into.

On Kobol, there’s the whole history of banishing the 13th Lord and the 13th tribe. At first I thot there was a cylon associated with each tribe and #13 (model #7) was the banished one.

I wonder if this is possible or if I’m just wrong…AGAIN.

after thinking about the same subject all day at work, I totally agree with you. The possibility of a 13th Lord/#7 model makes a lot of sense to me. Is it 10 pm yet?

There’s also this whole timeline thing mulling around in me cabeza.

Lords of Kobol create humanity
13th Lord creates Final Five human/cylon, go to Erf.
Humans leave Kobol
Humans create tincans and goto war

Now, here’s where it gets interest…

Do the tincans create the human/cylon models or do the Final Five?

If so, do they know about it? I think it was Sean that said, “Cavil knows.” He is #1 afterall. That would be wild.

I think that the Final Five created the humanoid models. But that just begs the question: Where do the FF fit into this part of the cycle? Did they just reappear? Did the toasters rebuild or ressurect them? I hope we find out.

I really hope we get those answers tonight.

We’ll see Ellen come back and Anders remembers stuff. So hopefully it’ll be juicy and not just more questions. Me noodle is baked.

And there’s the BIG question; will we see the Swirl?

I just read up on the Timeline over on Wiki, Thanks. I recommend that others check it out. It makes me see this show in a whole new light.

walks by thread whistling and trying to look innocent

Hmm, very interesting ideas…very interesting indeed…

And how cool is it that today is Friday the 13th, too?

No fair…you know something. I saw the other thread with the RDM 'cast and all.

Don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.

Honestly, I know a lot less than I’m letting on, and I’m most likely interpreting what little I do know incorrectly to boot. But really, it is an interesting idea; I want to comment on it, but I can’t for fear that I’m compromised.

ETA: What I can say that I know is not spoilery is that, after playing around with a star map program trying to figure out how far the Fleet was from Earth when we saw Orion in “The Hub,” I’'m pretty sure the Colonials came to Earth right on a line with the thirteenth zodiac constellation; it’s the only way Orion would look as accurate as it did from far away from Earth. I thought that was a nice touch.

Also, the thirteenth zodiac sign, Ophiuchus, is the Serpent-Bearer, sometimes associated with Apollo slaying Python, which is how the real-world Pythia got her title. The other myth associated with it–I think–is Aesclepius, the god one of Gaius’s flock prays to in “Escape Velocity,” who was killed by the gods for bringing someone back from the dead with his incredible medical acumen.

I have to admit, I had a moment of weakness and peeked at that thread. I clicked the link then started screaming “la la la” as I plugged my ears and shut my eyes. The boss was not amused.

Clearly, we’re going to get some more info about the condition of Galactica tonight, given what Tyrol saw last week. His awareness of the deteriorating hull may factor into just how “bad” the situation will become and when. It just occurred to me that, if the Cylons can incorporate their FTL tech into human ships, they may be able to help “regenerate” - or at least shore up - The Big G.

As for what group created what group and what other groups thought about all that - no idea. But tonight we start getting some answers.

BTW - If the FF have been around for so frakkin’ long - where are all their children?

We all know that at the end of the ep BSG had that T-Rex-looking tear, but I remember during the episode how bad the ship looked just from the outside. It’s about time it started looking like it was on borrowed time, because it sure should be.

She’s nearing the end - just a question of how long the crew can keep her going, perhaps with some Cylon help.

maybe the toasters can help. who knows? But will there be enough time? Galactica is looking a bit worse for wear.

Gods, I hope we get some answers. At this point I need a flow chart to keep things straight in my head.

I’ve been mulling this thought over myself. What’s got me thinking is that several months ago, maybe before 4.0 started, a rumor was floating around that Starbuck would believe herself to be a Cylon for a few episodes, but that, of course, she would discover that she was mistaken. As usual, I think this might be misinformation. Better to surprise us when it turns out she’s right.

That said, it’s probably just another uninformed rumor. Sides, there’s already one Cylon couple, why another?

Holy craaaap y’all!! No more theories from talos!!

I’m keeping my mouth shut.
SO is the 13th Cylon…STARBUCKS FATHER!!@!!!
Yes I believe that is so, that makes her the first hybrid.
