Yes, that is Mal under there. Problem with putting the cowl on is that if you do it too well he simply looks like every other Batman. If they were wearing the same costume could tell the difference between Christian Bale, Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer?

Actually, the bat cowls strike me as much more diverse now that I’ve had a look at them all together.
Totally. That’s why I made the caveat about the cowl remaining the same. If you use the same cowl and stick it on several actors it would be hard to figure out who was who. There has been a great diversity of cowls and…erm, body detail…<points embarrassedly at the Clooney chest armor…>
